Kate Martin

Kate MartinI am a Family Law Paralegal for the Law Offices of Kelli Anne Viloria, PLLC.

While I was born a California girl, I was raised in Nevada for the better part of my life. For better or worse, I am a Gabbs Tarantula at heart.

My legal career began in 1998 at the Churchill County District Attorney's Office. I worked drug cases, DUI's, child abuse, sexual assault, property crimes, murder cases, juvenile and CPS matters and child support matters. I worked files from charging to Trial to Appeal.

In 2009, I relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and began working for the Arizona Attorney General, working in the Child Protection Services Section, working with CPS on cases where children were removed from their homes.

At the end of 2010, Nevada was calling so I returned home. I worked in the private sector handling family law matters ranging from Adoption, Joint Petition for Divorce, Custody and Visitation, Pre- Nuptials, Wills and Probate, Trust and Deed work, Personal Injury and Criminal Defense.

In 2014, I left the private sector to work for the Lyon County District Attorney's Office handling criminal cases to include DUI death cases, property crimes, drug crimes, murder by means of child abuse, sexual assault, and juvenile and CPS matters

During my time at Lyon County, I also worked for the Fernley City Attorney for a year and a half as a part time temporary paralegal dealing with Misdemeanor criminal matters.

I have almost 20 years combined experience in the legal field and have spent 14 of that serving as administrator for case management systems as well. I have flown all over the country training other law agencies on how to use their systems.

I am the extremely proud mother of three children. We are extreme San Francisco Giants fans and can often be found at AT&T Park watching the Giants play baseball...we bleed orange and black! We love to attend all kinds of sporting events to include hockey, basketball and football.

I am excited and proud to be a part of the Law Office of Kelli Anne Viloria. I look forward to putting my knowledge and experience to work serving our clients with compassion, confidence and conviction.
